These Terms and Conditions govern your use of Tradeflix Appliance Care Plans provided by PackBros Ltd trading as Tradeflix (Company No. SC838492, registered in Scotland). Please read them carefully before purchasing a plan. By purchasing, you agree to be bound by these terms.
1. Definitions
- "We", "Us", "Tradeflix" – PackBros Ltd trading as Tradeflix (SC838492)
- "You", "Customer" – The plan holder named on the agreement
- "Plan" – Your Tradeflix Appliance Care Plan
- "Appliance" – Any domestic appliance registered under your Plan
- "Breakdown" – Sudden mechanical or electrical failure due to normal wear and tear
- "Excess" – The £25 contribution you pay per claim

Tradeflix is a trading name of PackBros Ltd, a company registered in Scotland (Company No. SC838492). We are a 100% digital business with no physical office address. All correspondence and support is handled via email and telephone.

3. Eligibility
3.1 Customer Eligibility
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Be a permanent UK resident
- Have a valid UK bank account for Direct Debit or card payments
- Own or be the authorised user of the appliances
3.2 Appliance Eligibility
- Be no more than 8 years old at registration
- Be in good working order with NO existing faults
- Be used solely for domestic purposes
- Have an original value not exceeding £5,000
- Be installed per manufacturer guidelines
- Be located at your registered UK address
4. What Is Covered
We Cover:
Mechanical and electrical breakdown caused by normal wear and tear during standard domestic use. This includes parts, labour, and replacement if repair isn't possible.
- Mechanical failure of functional parts
- Electrical failure including motors and electronic components
- Normal wear and tear from everyday use
- Unlimited repairs (subject to £25 excess per claim)
- Free replacement if beyond economical repair
5. What Is NOT Covered
Important: We Do NOT Cover
- Pre-existing faults – Any issues that existed before your plan started
- Accidental damage – Drops, spills, impacts, knocks, or physical damage
- Damage by family, friends, or third parties – Including children, visitors, tenants
- Natural events – Lightning strikes, floods, storms, power surges
- Neglect or misuse – Failure to maintain, ignoring warning signs
- Delayed reporting – Issues noticed but left to worsen before claiming
- Personal injury – These claims must go to the appliance manufacturer
- Cosmetic damage – Scratches, dents, discolouration
- Commercial use – Appliances used for business purposes
- Consumables – Filters, bulbs, batteries, seals
- Software/connectivity issues – Smart features, apps, WiFi
6. The £25 Excess
A £25 excess is payable by you for each claim. This helps us keep monthly premiums affordable and ensures the fund remains sustainable for all customers.
- The excess is due when we arrange your repair
- Payment is taken via secure phone payment or payment link
- One excess per claim, regardless of repair complexity
- The excess applies to both monthly and yearly plans
7. How to Make a Claim
Important: Report Issues Immediately
You must report faults as soon as you notice them. If you notice an issue starting and leave it to worsen, we may not cover the resulting damage.

- Have your customer reference (TF-XXXXXX) ready
- Describe the fault and when it occurred
- Pay the £25 excess
- We'll arrange an engineer visit within 3-5 working days

9. Payment Terms
- Monthly payments by Direct Debit or card
- Yearly payments in advance with 15% discount
- First payment collected within 10 working days of activation
- Failed payments may result in suspended cover
10. Cancellation
10.1 Your Right to Cancel
- 14-day cooling-off period: Full refund if no claims made
- After 14 days: Cancel anytime with 30 days' notice, no fees
- Yearly plans may receive pro-rata refunds
10.2 Our Right to Cancel
We may cancel with 30 days' notice if you:
- Fail to pay premiums
- Provide false information
- Make fraudulent claims
- Are abusive to staff or engineers
11. Personal Injury
Important Notice
Tradeflix does not handle personal injury claims. Any injuries caused by your appliances must be directed to the appliance manufacturer. We are not liable for personal injury under any circumstances.
12. Limitation of Liability
- Maximum liability per appliance: current market value or £5,000 (whichever is lower)
- Maximum aggregate liability per year: £15,000
- We are not liable for indirect losses (food spoilage, loss of earnings, etc.)
13. Data Protection
We process your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and GDPR Policy. Your data is encrypted and never shared with third parties for marketing.

15. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Scotland. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Scottish courts.
